I think it means that he isn't fully in charge and he is not in full control of everything.

  1. Which words or phrases in the cartoon appear to be the most significant? Why do you think so?

 I think "me, myself and i" are significant because the president claims that he is in full control of everything when in reality he isn't.

1. List adjectives that describe the emotions portrayed in the cartoon.

An emotion portrayed in the cartoon is boredom and stress.

  1. Describe the action taking place in the cartoon.

  The citizen is asking the president if he knows the three branches of government and the president is very confident that he has full control of everything so he says "me, myself, and i" as his response to the boy.

  1. Explain how the words in the cartoon clarify the symbols.

 The words in the cartoon clarifies the symbols because he has a book that clearly says "executive orders" which is showing us that the executive branch orders him to do things.

  1. Explain the message of the cartoon.

 The message of the cartoon is to show us that the president does not have full control of everything in fact he also has to do things that other parts of the government order him to do .

  1. What special interest groups would agree/disagree with the cartoon's message? Why?

 I think that people who think that the president shouldn't have full authority will disagree because the president obviously does not have full control of everything and even if he did certain people would not agree with the idea that only the president has a say.
